I am an experienced full-time ATA-certified translator specializing in French and Mandarin financial, corporate, and marketing translation. I am also an English-language copywriter. I have a degree in French Humanities and Translation (Lettres et traduction françaises) and East Asian Studies from McGill University in Montréal, Québec, a Certificate of Advanced Chinese Proficiency from the Beijing Language and Culture University in Beijing, China, and an MBA from University of Nevada, Reno. I have worked in the translation and localization industry since 2011 and as a translator since 2013.
I am passionate about cross-cultural communication, language, and entrepreneurship. I write about the translation industry, translation issues and news, working as a freelancer, and my love of the written word.
